Pheasants will lay about 50 eggs if you keeping taking them. Just remove them, she will start laying some where else. You normally start collecting from laying birds about the first of April so she's got plenty of time to lay a new clutch.

Can you make a frame over the eggs and put logs around it and still leave right of way for mum to come and go ?

Or just say the cat got them. lol

Aw I would just leave her sit and then fill it up what's the incubation period for a pheasant chickens 21 days pheasant cant be that's much more surely?or stick the eggs under a broody and block the area off from her accessing it

Is it not illegal to to disturb nesting birds or damage their nests??

 

Not being arsey, just this is a public forum and you never know who's watching.

 

Under normal circumstances yes, but these are game birds and I believe gamekeepers etc are permitted to collect wild game bird eggs for rearing and eventual release. This will only apply to the landowner or agent (if its your land or you rent it) blackbirds etc are all fully protected it being an offence to disturb any nesting bird.
