Woah, cheers guys!:thumbup:

Much appreciated:blush::biggrin:

Here's the progress on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Ride-to-the-Ballabu/324346237662848?ref=hl

And yes here's the link (again, cheers Paul) for any sponsoring you wish to do (not forcing you:biggrin:) Arbography

All monies raised will be used to help the people in the local villages

We aim to set in motion the wheels of a schools project that is run by the Eden Project in Cornwall called Gardens for Life; it basically connects schools within the UK to those in less privileged parts of the world & we are visiting an area in the Gambia that is part of the project. Unfortunately, due to reasons out of anyone's control in the Gambia, the project has ground to a halt & we hope to resurrect it by making a financial donation that will enable to refloat the project for a period of time in which an infrastructure can be created to sustain it for years to come. As part of this, the trip members shall be making a large personal donation to get the project back up and running.

Whilst there we shall also be promoting an area called Makasutu (means "holy forest") by making the local people aware of the benefits of trees and creating their own sustainable eco tourism.:thumbup1:

AND ITS ONLY 16 DAYS TO GO...!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Yeh, swapped the bike round half way through to look at a different wall:lol:

It helps that when the kids are in they keep me entertained with constant questions!:biggrin:

Going to get out on the real bike next, and one day, actually ride to the Gambia for real:thumbup:

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
