best tree id book

good day all

 

looking for a new tree id book,any thoughts on the best book out there..:001_huh:

 

got a few around the house but not the best

 

looking at my mates collins tree id book the other day and thought that was pretty good,what do you think:confused1:

i've not got the collins so cant compare but i've found what i have realy usefull.

 

they are,

 

 

trees in britain europe and north america,

by roger phillips. 220 pages

 

the complete guide to trees of britain and northern europe,

by alan mitchell. 202 pages

 

the illustrated encyclopedia of trees of the world,

by tony russel, catherine cuttler and martin walters. 510 pages

 

a field guide to tree of britain and northern europe,

by alan mitchell. 416 pages

 

collins nature guide to the trees of britain and europe,

by g. aas and a. riedmiller. 250 pages

 

 

all come in handy at some point or another. recomend all...
