No worries, if you are dropping any more let me know as Im looking for cord to cut for log burner as we have gone through this years supply so need to replenish wood store for next winter. The price of LPG is ridiculous and so the log burner is a lifesaver in the house.

Can I ask why you did not try and sell it?

I normally do sell the timber, but as it was a bit out of the way if I could of got it moved for nothing it would of saved me taking unimog an trailer there. Fuel vs value use more fuel then timber worth!!

I'm not far away but would have come for a load if I was free. If your ever after getting rid of logs again I have room for plenty

I also do a collection service with my MB Trac and forwarding trailer but normally restrict to within 25 miles of Bolton. Formby unfortunately is right at the edge of that range although I have collected from Southport in the past.

but normally would you sell chestnut fire wood?

I sell the timber on for processing no problem. :-))
