Sachs Dolamar 153

Just got hold of a Sachs Dolamar 153. I like dolmar saws, just wondering what other people think of them?

 

We have one of the first dolmars to come into the country, still runs fine

Old dolmars were good but spares are sometimes hard to get now as the parts are no longer listed since makita changed numbers.

yeah thats very true, good job we have boxes of bits that im sure will fit ha

I used to have Dolmars and thought they were sweet saws with very good engines. I had a 120si until recently.

o ta for that great find! ha now i know what this one looks like new

 

gave it a good run in today, cuts like a beast! Putting a 36" bar on it next week

 

Going to start doing some milling with it soon, should be good!
