That's a curious thing....! Catamaran....?

What did you build it from?

Impressed!

Yes it's a cat. Made from marine ply and epoxy/glass/kevlar. Advantages of a cat is that it's really stable (which is great for people not too confident in boats), and really cheap to run. 2* 8hp engines push it along at 10 knots on less than half power. Not nearly as much fun as our 6.5 metre RIB with 120 on the back, but eminently more sensible.

Bonwitco? GardenKit.

Yes Mick. Its a Bonwitco 'With' Speedboat circa 1974. Norwegian built before Wills started making them in Kingsbridge.

Bonwitco are famous for their 'dromedile' hull, which gets them 'up' quickly onto the plane, with little power.

The Rib is an 'Atlantic 21'

Quality boats, double skinned. I bet it goes well with that 25 on.

My best boat was a 21' Corribee, the same as Ellen McArthur sailed round Britain in when she was 19. I wish I'd never sold it, I used it every week in the summer, I'd come off the mooring and sail up to Stangate Creek on the Medway and chuck a rod over the side and spend Friday nights swilling back beer and watching the wildlife.

This was the last boat I owned.
