How long ago was you here i have been here nearly 20 years and never seen a proper job second hand shop only a recycle place.

And i might be the on that needs to apologise as to me this is a village but to others it's a town.

Thanks for the comments

Once again my apologies: I foolishly named the place where you can buy stuff that's not new and has been used by someone else before a second hand shop.

Now stop nitpicking and do something productive!

you have your cs tickets that's a start. go to the local council find out who does the grass cutting etc. see if you can get a seasonal job with them looking at present for people to cut the grass. will not need a car you can start to earn some money so you can get you licence pay for a little run around then you can start asking local arb boys if they need a hand. or you have the grass cutting work to keep you going until you can get a foot in door. its hard without a licence but there are jobs that you can do until you can get that licence. as for pest control. you will find it harder than arb. to get baits, etc at a right price you will need your certificates. as for shooting once again farmers not keen on strangers you need to get to know people who know farmers. and most do it as a hobby not a paid job. the comercial sector is done by the big company's with all he public liability. sorry to paint a gloomy picture but just being honest. go to council see how you get on. let us all know how you get on. its hard with no money. good luck

I've only read page 1. I really hope this isn't going to be a repeat of the christmas time thread that Chipper ran. While it was tremendously entertaining for the rest of us, I'm surprised Chipper wasn't swinging from the rafters by the end of it.

Anyway, this thread shows that he has a bit of tenacity (he hasn't topped himself) and the fact that he's thinking of alternatives shows he's opening his mind and thought process, a bit.

Keep it up Chipper and don't get drawn into a slanging match again.

Thanks Alex, I'm aware of that. It does though depend on the specifics of the contract I'm under. If the contract states that any sub-contract labour must provide their own Liability insurance, then I would require this information. Thanks again for your continued concern.
