Have used them in the past. Good concept, though the Alstor itself is too expensive, too delicate and too easy to roll.

Check out the Kranman Bison - much cheaper and whilst I've not seen one in person, looks better.

Forget quads, they're not the right tool for towing. There was a thread a few months back where some muppet swore his mate used to pull three ton with an 800cc- Ill try to dig it out. Essentially for anything other than pulling a small trailer with tools you need a tractor of some sort- a quad just doesn't have the weight to put the power to the ground. Which incidentally is the point of a quad- low ground pressure personal transport.

As for Kymco putting other quads to same- I presume you've not tried a Honda then?:laugh1:

Even a 20hp compact tracor will pull a small timber trailer (like a vahva jussi etc) more convincingly than a quad.

Our Kubota is physically about the size of a fergie 135 and pulls our 4 tonne forwarding trailer without breaking sweat and is still only about 5ft6/6ft wide.

Was speaking to a forestry company one lunch who were looking at alstor for a site, not knowing anything I suggested the kranman, they just laughed, they don't have a good reputation for pro useage
