Cheers bbtarb,

I am looking at getting my own big shot & something that will come down with more ease than a conventional bag on high shots so I may go with this combo for my money.

How do you mean positioning? point sat well into the base of the big shot pouch & careful holding prior to launch so as not to invert ect?

Hi Danavan,

By positioning i just mean taking the time to make sure its seated well in the pouch, nice and central, so that when you release it it flies straight out at the right trajectory and doesn't hit any part of the catapult. Not an exact science but worth the extra effort when you get it right! Here's a couple of pics of steve fry getting it set up :001_smile:

whats the catch hes using on the bottom of the pole?

Hey steve, it's just a quick release shackle that drew set up as a trigger mechanism to get maximum power from the big shot. you pull the small piece of string on the side of it to release the elastic. works really well for aiming at bigger shots. hope that makes sense?

Unless you mean the red thing under that which is an ISC rocker rope grab . .

Thanks for that bbtarb :thumbup1:

I have ordered a big shot & had a go on Marcus throw pod's tho other day, both 8 & 10oz & have to say I really liked them. Defo looking fwd to using one in the big shot as that added little bit of security that it will come down from a higher flight is defo worth it imo.
