Ben Law documentary on kickstarter

For those of you who know about Ben Law they are trying to raise funds to make a documentary about him:

Proper woodsman. I reckon it will be a good watch.

 

I think the way it works is that you pledge your money on kickstarter but you only pay if they hit their target and the whole project goes ahead.

 

Anyway I am in for a tenner. Anyone else?

He needed planning permission? wouldn't it come under permitted development?

The way it was granted was that if he ever sold the wood he'd have to tear the house down.

yeah, i get that, but in the program he is states that him living on site is integral to his business, I was fairly sure that that is pretty much exactly what permitted development was for.

As I understand it, he can't even leave the structure to his kids, if he has any in the future. Though there maybe a case, if one of his future children carry on what he's doing in the same wood. But that's a way down a long road.
