Might have to pay them a visit..... Do fancy a 150t!

They sell at full retail though, so 20% of that still makes them way more expensive than a proper stihl dealer (one that buys direct from stihl).

George carr, jonesie, honeys, lister wilder etc etc. Never buy anything except emergency chains etc from countrywide!

Climb X Pilot Harness and Belay Set | GO Outdoors

How's that? I also wanted a harness and belay so might as well buy one!

What about sizes, are they adjustable to fit most people PR should I buy a specific size, eg small, medium?

I dont want to interfere here, this is not my thread, and I dont care what people do in their spare time but you cant really be serious about going tree climbing in a sport harness!!??

Tree climbing is work positioning, you should know that from your CS38, and rock harness are not really suitable, you will have a bad day!

Mr Worcswuss (sorry dont know your first name) I hope you dont end up running a free training day? I know this is recreational but it is also practice for work, so people should hopefully already know what they are doing rather than relying on teaching from others. Tips and tricks for sure though!

I'll come up for a climb if I have time on the day.

Be great if you could make it up Rupe, be really good to meet you.

You make a good point, sport harnesses are a long way from ideal, but I got he impression that Jack was in the market for one anyway.

I don't think it will become a free training day as such, but it does have a strong flavour of 'taster day' about it which is fine by me. That said, I don't mind setting up a tree and looking after the novices.

It'll work out nicely I'm sure...
