Pole Hedge Trimmer

Evening all, in The market for a New Pole trimmer, currently using an efco Pole which is 14 Months old & Never out The Workshop!! My older style Pole Never missed a Beat in 4 years of Hard use! Any recommendations on other makes??

Echo for me have both the polesaw with hedge cutter attachment and standard long reach both never given me any bother.

I run a stihl kombi KM130 with two extension poles 1 mtr and 0.5 mtr , it's done a lot of work without a problem . ( touch wood ). I've heard some bad reports , but as I said mine has been great .

I would go with the Stihl HT 101 Through HT 131. Depending on what size engine you need. The Stihl models would work well with either a saw or hedger attachement. The Echo Power Pruner is only available with a saw since nearly 3 years ago Echo dropped the hedger attachement for the Power Pruner. Good Hunting.

It is a bit heavy shame someone could not invent some sort of harness to support it .

I have operated a shindiawa for the last 6 years has done everything asked of it with just the normal servicing undertaken. Not a sthil but a useful tool

I've got two km85 and one 130 with extension poles , prefer the old 85 revs higher best of all you can split these apart and put em in a stihl bag and store em under bed.
