Hi all, I have a dragonfly harness which so far im pleased with, just one thing though and that is the main strap which goes round your stomach keeps coming undone and making it uncomfortable.

Just wondered if anyone else has the same problem or knows a cunning little trick to stop it.

cheers

My tree austria keeps doing that to. I keep meaning to get some velcro and sick the spare stuff down with it.

Thats a good idea, will have to give that ago.

ditto. ive never had one come undone, either you are not clicking it in properly in the first place or else its faulty.

Its definitly clicking in properly i always check that, the clip has never come undone or failed its just the strap itself that keeps letting slack through and it becomes loose. Hope that makes sense.

oh ok, im with you now, and yes thats very irritating.

i cut mine to length and riveted it although im sure that would fail loler so i wouldnt recommend it....plus i put on weight and rendered the harness useless!

That sounds like a pretty good cure. I will try something along them lines. Either rivet it or find something which i can keep the slack and the belt forced together with then adjust if needed.

Was guna half heartedly buy a diffrent harness but it lives to see another tree! Cheers for posting that up

ok but take the above as my disclaimer.

i'd be interested to hear a loler inspectors opinion on that though all the same?

Ok cool. i was going to rivet it as a last option tho was just going to do something similar to stop the slack getting thru like get some strong tape wrapped round it or something, nothing in the way of modifying the harness so dont worry.

Yeah me to you would think it would make the harness maybe safer but in the eyes of loler it could be a diffrent thing.
