Being threatened!

Judging by the way he talks he's clearly not the fizziest can in the fridge, just ignore him.

 

I had a snotty email a few months ago from a log guy in Leicestershire saying how my bags were the incorrectly advertised blah blah blah. I don't know why wasted his time writing the email as I'm almost certainly never going to affect his business.

 

Some people are born with a chip of their shoulder, ignore them.

I'd invite him round for a face to face discussion.

Tell him you'd be happy to explain any concerns he has and that it is free market - as long as there is no deception or mis-representation there is no problem.

DO NOT offer to advise him on your business strategy (he is a competitor after all).

He's an organ so rise above him and offer a diplomatic way forward.

 

If it ever escalates you'll be able to show that youve been outrageously polite and HE has been a dick-head.

 

Keep the moral hugh ground and continue with pride!
