Does your A540di top roller look like this, at this angle?

The problem doesn't appear to the angle actually but the left side of the top roller is hitting the bottom roller.

It's just been apart for bottom roller replacement.

The top roller mounting is siting correctly on the stops on both sides.

Why are the rollers hitting when they weren't before?

When ours does this its crap under the floating spung spigot . Usually from leafy brash or connie . I put a bigish log in , say about 6" dia and stop it half way through . Then you can get in there and dig the crap uot with a screw driver or similar .

Thanks Stubby but that's not the problem.

I'm now wondering if the angle is supposed to be like that, at rest, but I can't figure out how the rollers are hitting because they fit on the shafts with a key.

i reckon prob your bearings going or gone, happenened to mine recently !

also just had to replace flywheel bearings to.. ouch !

The bearing feels ok. I lifted up the top roller today and there was no movement at all.

Is yours an A540 as well Dave?

Can you turn one another little bit so that they "mesh" rather than clash?

Think that's it, both rollers should mesh together, turn top roller on the drive splines a little
