Got my new one today all the numbers have changed just to confuse things more cs40 now 002113 the older units still have cs but more numbers cs38 now cs 0967

Obviously money well spent, the old system was clearly unworkable.....

While I've been waiting for the assessment I've been given the new schedule to learn. Nothing like making things easy is there?

They have changed more than just the numbers, assesment schedules have also changed, cs38 is now access of tree using ropes and harness and aerial rescue and you can pass or fail each individual unit

And cs38 on my card which came a couple of weeks ago is 002013

Hmmm, a couple seem to be duplicated, eg , 002006 and 002010.

It would be handy to find a table that explains the accepted equivalents between new and old units.

When considering refresher training for some old CS units some guidance regarding the modern replacement will reduce some of the confusion.

I couldn't agree more. There now seems to be a lot of duplication and I'm unsure whether my old units cover some of the new ones. If anyone can help clear this up I'd be grateful.

There is a fair bit of confusion at the moment with qualifications changing criteria and unit numbers etc.

 

Here is a link to a PDF identifying the new modules/qualifications.
