New Arb Truck

Time has come to invest in a new truck and sell my Unimog & Schiessling chipper.

Thinking of a Landrover 130 with fixed tool box and custom built tip body - any ideas where I can get a decent job.

Thinking of Foleys - Harlow & another in Cambridge but can't think of their name right now.

Pros & Cons of landy Arb truck?

Dont know about the tipper, but for the 130 in general

Pro's Its a landy so will go just about anywhere you will want it to go, And its a going to look bloody amazing once dirtied up, because its a Landy.

Con's Its a landy so will cost a fortune to buy and run, so basically its a Landy.

Why do you say it'll cost a lot to run?

The Cambridge company have quoted £34k plus vat for fully kitted landy.

generally thirstier and higher tax than compared to say a transit. but if its a straight replacement for a unimog I couldn't say as I've not got any experience with them.
