ive just bought one, 04 plate cdti done 500 miles so far think it needs a new fuel filter other than that seems ok so far, also has the bonus of rear seats which fold completely flat so best of both car/van also cheap on tax which is why I didn't go for the older Isuzu engined one

What engines in ours? I thought It was isuzu! 80 hp

I used one for a short while. It seemed ok to me, fast and comfy for longer trips. But at 75K miles it has a few problems: alternator failed the rear brake drums hard to be replaced with shoes, oil light took a while to go off but probably that is not unusual. Load carrying was Ok considering the size of the van, but keep the weight in the middle. Towing weight capability is very good and useful.

Just to update buying this van has proven a pain!!! lucky its under warranty so not costing me anything just annoying. The problem with is it only starts cold eg first think in the morning after that you can crank all day with no luck, I thought i was the crank sensor but thats been changed plus fuel filter and no difference now its in the vauxhall garage who say its the fuel pump and have ordered a new one so should have it back by wednesday, but what i dont understand is if its the pump why does it start cold and run perfectly until you turn it off and it wont re-start, i know this is a tree forum but its good to share this problems as you never know who could be in the same boat and it may just help someone else out finding the problem

Ye i still think they are good little vans, what im thinking is the guy i bought it from phoned me and said i'll put some fuel in it for you to get home and drop it off a my house for you to collect, im thinking he prob put £5-£10 worth of petrol in the diesel engine and thats caused the problem as it was fine when i test drove it and turned it off a re started it. thats the only thing i can think of.
