How come its hard to shift Nick?

Bit like pure oak. Weighs heavy so don't always get full load on for 25-26 ton..

Some don't like pure beech as its bit slow burning..

95 % of woodlands around me in the chilterns are beech so its cheap.

Beech is my favorite out of all the species. Dense enough to last, light enough to start a fire. Very heavy when green unlike ash. Very popular with customers when seasoned.

How long does the beech need seasoning do you think? I guess it comings in large core sizes?

Split it now and it'll be dry by October. Leave it in cord and prob won't be dry the following oct
