What saw to run a larger bar?

I run a Husqvarna 395 on a 36" . Copes well .

 

Me too and it is an awesome saw! Buy one now and you won't regret it, lots of grunt, more grunt than a 660 in my opinion, that's why I got rid of my 660:)

i bought a 066 for £300. it is in good condition and runs sweet apart from the holes where the dog teeth bolt to are defunkt. but i am sure i can sort that.

 

seems to handle the 36 inch bar well. and i find it a lot more maneuverable than an 88 with a 4 foot bar. try a felling cut with the 4 foot and it just pulls a sad face! :D
