Have just received full load of hardwood on an 8 wheeler for £1000, also offered a full artic load for £1600. Have i taken the best value option ?:confused1:

8 wheelers gross tonnage is 32 artic can vary but 44 tonne is uk max on 6 axles. An artic with bulk tipper can weigh as little as 13 tonne empty approx, depending an 8 wheeler maybe 11 depending. Its a loaded question literally. Width of cargo area x length and how high. I assume you are taking about a tipper. If so another time artic probably better if a grain bulker type trailer.
