ditto, though not strictly a 'man of kent' I have been there...:001_tongue:

Fear not Rich, for a small fee (£50) I can arrange an honourary man of Kent day ticket. Seriously though, that,s five so far so I,ll give Bedgebury a call today to see if it can be done. Start thinking of a back up venue in case they say no.

I'm up for that. If bedgebury are a no go then I know of somewhere to go with lots of old trees in a open setting as well as woodland. Near Canterbury and a bloody good traditional pub nearby too. Kentish Yeomen welcome too!!!

Dave.

Anyone is welcome mate, but tell me what is a Kentish Yeoman :confused1: That,s a new one on me.

It's all to do with what side of the river (Medway) you are from.If you are from the south side eg canterbury area then you are a Man of Kent and from the north side ie tonbridge rochester etc then you are a Kentish Yeoman. Have you ever noticed pub names in these areas?? The North/South divide you might say:reddy:

When you thinking Mark?

Well that,s news to me. The river Medway runs north to south basically, anyone west of the Medway is a Kentish man and anyone east of the river is a man of Kent.
