I brought this helmet about 6 months ago and I have been working in it on a regular baisis. Inevitably it is beginning to smell of sweat.

 

How does everyone else try to keep their helmets clean and smelling fresh?

Stick the whole helmet in a bucket with some bio washing powder. Take the ear muffs off and wash them out as well.

take out the foam pads and all the straps and machine wash, comes out sa new.

p.s i found it tricky to take apart but worth it.

If it's the same model as mine pull out the two triangular shaped pieces at the, then the two at the back and the one in middle at back, straps just unclip. Take photos of straps in situ, I always forget how it goes back, quick spin in washer job done
