    Ms200t

Hi, I am looking at selling my MS200T, 2001 edition with a 14 inch bar and chain that has been used about 5 times. It has had a fair bit of use but looked after very well and still runs like a treat. I am looking at getting the MS201T. How much would you say I should ask for my MS200T? Thanks!
  13. Hi, I climb on a hitch climber with VT. I put a pantin on if it is a long straight climb now and again but I was just wondering if anyone uses the petzl ascender and if it worth the money? Thanks!!!
  14. Hi, I am doing a finance assignment for my FdSc in arboriculture. Could you please tell me some positives and some negatives of buying a new chipper? What would you recommend to buy. New or Used? Why do you think this? Thanks for your help!
  15. Got woken up by the neighbour and he said I think your strimmer is in the next door neighbours front garden. And it was! Some low life scum came across the back gardens and stole any equipment possible. Luckily my Arb kit is in another shed alarmed and the pathetic scum did not attempt to the mowers. So I have been very lucky in that they only took the strimmer and left it next door! Keep your eyes peeled please in Birmingham!
  16. Hi, Is anyone doing the FdSc in Arb at Pershore starting in September? It would be good to get to know some of you before we go! Cheers
  17. I was in Galway, Ireland last week and me and my day were cutting some wood for our fire next to a pine forest and the wood wasp took a liking to my new hi vis yellow pfanner trousers and I did the same. Ran away waving my hands.
  18. Before the fees went up from £3000 per year to £9000 per year it was viewed A levels or work. Now with the cost of uni, apprenticeships and other routes to achieving degrees and extra qualifications and being developed and offered.
  19. I have just finished sixth form and I have got into Pershore College to do FdSc Arboriculture. I got a C in Geography and a C in ICT and I can tell you it was bloody hard! I had to work very hard for what I got. I prefer to do practical work and would have gone straight into the arb industry after my GCSE's but I thought if I have an accident at work in the future, I will hopefully have my FdSc to fall back on and do office based work but still in the arb industry which I have a passion for. Some people are just naturally talented, a few friends got 3 A*'s but should people put others down and devalue their achievements because they have different opinions. I along with many others found the leap from GCSE's to A levels almost unmanageable but we stuck it out and had a brilliant night out last night to celebrate our achievements. On the other hand I do have to agree with you to some extent. Some courses and at universities are seen as useless, but you will get nowhere without a degree. Most jobs do require a degree but it is not a degree in a specific field.
  20. My friend wants a meadow to grow with some plants planted around to boost the wildlife
  21. A friend has asked me to rotovate part of his grassed area of his garden to make wildlife section. Should I take the grass off before rotovating or just rotovate the grass into the ground? Does it make a difference? It is the first time someone has asked me to do something like this! Any suggestions welcome Thanks
  22. Thanks for all the replies. Yeah I think I am going to both of the courses. I can always do additional courses to get more experience. I am looking forward to doing it!
  23. Hi, I have recently come back from holliday where I took the chance to do a skuba dive. It is safe to say I love it! Does anyone else skuba dive? I only want to do a course which will let me skuba dive whilst I am away on holiday, what course would enable me to do this?
  24. I went on holiday for a week to Dubai. I turned up to the airport to get my flight back to Heathrow yesterday and the Virgin rep came up to the group of 9 I was with and said, "we are over booked and would you all like to stay an extra night? We will pay for your hotel and all food and drink. We will also give you a return ticket for free to anywhere in the world, except Australia We all took the offer, got an extra day in 35 degree sun and I now have got a free flight with Virgin. Has anyone ever had this done to them? Where should I use the ticket to go to?

    GoPro

I am looking at getting the GoPro 3 white edition. I would be using it first to film when i go scuba diving, jet skiing on holliday and then after that I would be using it for tree videos. Are they good to use? Is the basic package enough? Can you do a decent video edit on windows? Thanks, Liam
