I have an old book which is a really good read it's for the small holder it tells you every thing from growing veg to slaughtering a pig it's called self sufficiency by j Seymour

thanks for that, took a bit of sorting but got it now, top man, usefull site that too:thumbup1:

 

busted my back in the garden today, got two rows of early onions, a row of sprouting and callabresse broccoli out. Had to get out of the rain for a bit, was getting to me! shall pop back out and finish cloches and get some photos!:thumbup:

Got my onions in the other day, but then our weather is normally a bit earlier than the UK. My chillis are doing lovely in the spare room with the heating on in there. Probably wait until April now to get seeds in the ground, might start some off in seed trays indoors. If I can find some seed trays.

Needs some nice weather now. I have photos to put up sometime but need to upload a few from memory card. Need to be in the mood as I label them and file them.
