How does he get the "Skyline" tight without breaking it?

 

The rope is tied off at one end and then through a pulley or jean on the top tree and then a pulleys and prussik at the base of the tree tension it and tight the prussik.

 

Also it means it's easy to lower the line down if necessary!

Just like tensioning an electric power line for trains, except they have big weights for tensioning.( from what I have seen )

 

Looks like you are having fun, and getting some good experience :thumbup1:

 

Yeah it's easy just pull the line and tighten the prussik until you can't get it any tighter by hand! That way as well you can't over tighten it!!

 

Yeah it's brilliant I'm really enjoying it! And that is my main goal for this job is to gain experience and then when it comes to taking on a bigger contract I know what I'm doing!
