i have the rock stump master 2. what a piece of junk, all the parts cheaply built and bits break off everytime i use it.

It uses vermeer pro teeth which are a good tooth in them self, but they have to have an 11mm hole drilled through them to be bolted in which is almost impossible on hard cast steel. Rock don't supply them drilled and its a mornings work and about £20 worth of drill bits to do a set in the pillar drill (which i had to buy specially for it).

Probably why they stopped selling it! I didnt like the look of it when got mine as though the folding handle looked like it wouldn't hold up to the work for long

They stopped selling them for that reason and went back to the mk1 as they were supposed to be better, end of the day you get what you pay for .

The folding handle broke, as did the brake caliper, brake lever, stop switch, throttle lever and grinding rotor. On the up side the engine still runs!

Probably only done about 20 hours with it before i gave up and brought a Bandit.

Chinese crap as I thought it would be, I bought a Chinese splitter a good few years a go and it was total crap. Never again.

The mark1 is excellent with the right operator, This was a big oak in Hampstead garden suburb North London. Had to carry it in because of impossible access. The Russian oligarchs security wouldn't let us helicopter a big machine in  Of course we have the luxury of being able to put a big days money on a stump in this part of the world. But shows what it can do with a bit of patience.

i have just done 3 stumps with my mk1 and is great for the price , but managed to find a buried steel bar :( . Are there any other teeth that fit or is it best to stick with rock machinery teeth?
