Hey guys,

I know there are alot of threads about harnesses. my choices are limited to petzl, treemotion, austria, buckingham. I am tall and skinny. 6 feet and 155pounds. 32 size waist. I dont do too much tree work, but would like something comfortable.

thanks for any input

A good suggestion seeing as u said u dont do too much tree work go for the petzl sequoia nice slimline harness with plenty of support or komet butterfly is what i climb on very robust

Same here, 6' and 32" waist, the sequoia fits me well in the waist, but the leg loops wont tighten fully around my skiny legs unless im in my protective (A) trousers. Have heard about others with the same issue in another thread. Best to try one for fit before you buy.

Iv got the treemotion which has a lovely wide back pad, in fact its a very comfy harness, however at £300 it doesn't really justify occasional tree work, and im slightly dubious about the durability of it over the long term, only had it 5months. The willans t22 is a good robust occasional harness...

I stuck with a Willans T22 good harness comfy good padding & solid construction, last years (mine has but dont climb much these days)

Also it dont melt if exposed to heat by accident like some would (just in case your welding etc lol)
