Must be the only place in Uk with no snow today! cancelled good work to avoid the foretold white stuff, but ended up getting 12 metres of soft wood delivered so not a bad day after all...

snow hereford 4" but more around us no good for building,so did some logs 1 load today then loaded up ready for first of 3 saturday but the hilux on BF ATs graet goin when loaded but crap coming back emty back end drifts tidy.

Got three loads booked out today. Hilux on bfg MT if it can get up our drive it can go anywhere. Trouble is once the snow freezes and compacts the tyres dont give you the same advantage. I dont have the same problems as most hilux empty as the tipper body is heavy. In this weather I leave the hubs locked and put the front in with lever in cab.

HI STEVE there the best out the B F G TYRES mate but it ice here thats a night mere last year a chap said it ok in our village i got there to the village and it took 45mins to get to his door as there was thick ice on the road the chap said ive not been out for days :lol:it all mad jon

This was Saturday Jon near Shotley Bridge. 4 deliveries completed - 2 local to yard and 2 to Newcastle. Was pleased I had four wheel drive.
