if your thinking of buying that make sure your friends with a welder, they have a habit of cracking up badly round the infeed pan and under the engine mounts, they have small wheels which dont like being towed over rough ground and if its still fitted with the original axle they suffer from collapsed suspension

Have a look at the Carlton 1260.

will give you the letter box infeed with twin rollers, Has nearly twice the hydraulic power of the Bandit 65 , you can have the Kubota diesel which is very smooth and quite and the chipper has adjustable european hitch and axle. Probely the most powerful 6" chipper on the market todate.

Weights in at 1300kg.

If its a chipper thats going to last you a long time that you want with low running costs then take a look.

As Grinderman said. look out for some Bandit 65E models as these could be costly if they have not had mods done on them:thumbdown:.

The 1260 looks suspicously similar to the Bandit 65. Whats happening there then

Tell me, how do you come to the conclusion that the 1260 has "twice" the hydraulic power of the 65?

I have a 90XP and the wheels on mine are the same as standard landrover wheels! 235-65 R17.

1300kg sounds heavy that, more like a 7.5" machine in which case buy one of those instead. Or is this bigger than the 65?

What weight did Bandit tell you the 65XL is ?. It won't be far of the 1260.

Make sure the weight you get is a wet weight (includes all fluids and full tank of fuel) as some weights given on spec sheets are dry weight only.

We got guys towing them with transits.

The 1260 has larger hydraulic pump and motors then the 65XL.The motors are the same as a standard model 90 Bandit (9") so you can see how the pulling force will help fold those larger limbs reducing the amount of trimming required to chip your job.
