Has anyone got any decent simple setups they wish to share...

LOLER man doesn't like me choking a sling to it...at the moment I am thinking of trying out a split tail with prussik....did try a ropeman on prussik cord but that wasn't popular either...although I think I could refine this to an acceptable std.

Thanks

You choked a sling though the LJ ?

If the sling is rated, it should not be a problem. Have you a pic?

The ropeman is not a good idea. Can be a ropecutter when you take a good drop

eye to eye sling does the trick. If you loop a sling thru it and it catches the toggle in it, your on the way down the rope and off to A and E! :o

I used a lyon tape sling to the bottom attachment point ...I haven't got any pics though.

I thought that the ropeman2 was a little aggressive in its design and how it shredded the outer braiding on the cord thought about maybe filing the teeth a little but even then its still difficult to find a decent way of attaching it to a krab ...only a shackle or small maillon fits.

Something adjustable is what I want...daisy chains seem a pretty good idea but they have to be properly rated.

Still looks like a split tail and friction hitch is the best option...just bulky.

Ok so some pics of the setup I copied as it stands as of tonight...

Seems to work pretty well, and should do the job...any comments appreciated.
