anyone know of something that will chop bark up apart from a big trommel type screen, that we can put bark off our firewood logs into that will come out the other side in smaller pieces that we could market as playbark/garden bark mulch?

I chipped a whole load with my Gloria chipper, not the bottom muddy stuff but 90% of it, did a cracking job!!

Any gravity feeder.

I know of an old gravity pto model that would be perfect, yes the odd stone and mud will get in but if your getting a return on the waste, proper job!!:)

thanks steve, wondered if an old beet feeder bucket with auger and chopper would also do or would bark block up??

thanks

joy

I don't know that type of machine, a normal chipper with rollers will do it but the rollers will crush it too much.
