new petzl zigzag.

I've had a little go on one, it works exactly the same as a hitch climber but it won't bind when wet. I don't know how it will operate when chogging, or when your ascending and get really close to a thick branch and there's a chance the zig zag could get bent sideways. Its really really smooth for decending on though:thumbup:

Obviously i see it feeds on to the end of the rope,

Im guessing the rope will have to have 1 spliced eye max as im assuming theres no way enough play to get it over an eye?

i was wondering how well it will do in the wet. guess i will have to try. might just be my spring summer toy then back to hitch climber for wet autumn and winter. see how it goes i guess.
