Is this Kretsch on this Sorbus, or is it a panic fruiting Ganoderma, crown was pretty sparse although it seems to have been thinned to within an inch of its life:thumbdown:

couple of trees under our wings at work

 

copper beech with a new (noted) colonisation of Meripilus giganteus.

May airspade this one later in the week to assess level of root dysfunction/decay.

 

& oak with an old & known about fruiting of Fistulina at base and up in the crown.

Podoscypha multizonata also associated with this tree out on the roots.
