David,

What tree species is this sinuate gilled Tricholoma species associated with ?

Was at my feet when I took the shot of my colleague with the fibre scope in the shot above.

You can just make out acorn/leaf/twigs in the shot.

Quercus robur

Quercus robur

Then it could be Tricholoma ustaloides, T. sejunctum (smell of flour) or T. saponaceum (smell of soap).

1st pic found under Ash, 2nd and 3rd pic on H Chestnut and 4th pic on Prunus Sp.

Marco,

So the mushroom with gills was on Aesculus ? If so, it must be something else than Hypsizygus ulmarius or H. tessulatus, but without further information on the gills, stipe, spore colour and the smell, I can't give a name to it.

............also these wee oddities :confused1:

Thy look for all intents & purposes like forming Lycoperdons.

Gut tells me perlatum, but something doesn't seem right.

Open to any thoughts/suggestions :thumbup1:

David,

Especially the last single one in the last photo seems to be developing towards becoming Calvatia excipuliformis.
