Yes, I suppose that post did sound negative and it want supposed to be, mush.misc is a very good read:thumbup:

 

And I find the AA guide very handy indeed, it lives in my work/butty bag and pops out quite regularly at the moment:biggrin:

A few finds from today whilst out at a watercress farm....

 

Nice to know you were visiting a watercress farm :001_smile: , but I would like to have information on the tree species the fungi were growing on too :confused1: .

Don't think this is a Pleurotus. Looks more to be Pluteus sp. Possibly P. cervinus

 

I expect this to be on Ulmus and to have white spores. If so : Hypsizygus (= Lyophyllum) ulmarius.

I know, i saw it in the trafford centre selfridges and flicked through it a bit and thought it would be one worth having, not at their price though!
