13 years on from starting this thread and I still get a buzz every autumn from seeing the fruits of the forest and trees.   Some highlights found over the last three or four weeks from Londo

2021 has been a cracking year for me regarding all things fungi.   Found some amazing species, co-authored a book, gave some online talks & got a microscope to take identification a bit

couple of trees under our wings at work

 

copper beech with a new (noted) colonisation of Meripilus giganteus.

May airspade this one later in the week to assess level of root dysfunction/decay.

 

& oak with an old & known about fruiting of Fistulina at base and up in the crown.

Podoscypha multizonata also associated with this tree out on the roots.
