Looking at taking this down soonish, a fine specimen with a bit of crown dieback and general loss of vigour. Can't think why?

When you do Rowan, please give serious thought to contacting Brian Grieg at Forest Research.

 

He is very keen to find fresh Merip/Beech to grind out, to assess decay ingress in stumps for his Meripilus research program.
