Yorkshireman, most shoots lose 40% of released birds.Thats a very good return. You must do well on wild birds, keeping the predators down, or an adjacent shoot cant hold their birds for whatever reason.

Had a beauty of a day. Started off with shooting two left and right teal and mallard. Then 5 further single teal and a high pigeon which dropped into the river. Then because i'm a smarmy git i won the sweep for the second time this week ha ha.:beerchug:

Ha ha on the Ale tonight started on two cans of Ruddles County now on Old Speckled hen. Currently typing in my Stihl thermal top that arrived yesterday. Been shooting with it on today as a base layer and its nice. My old thermal top is a bit clingy but this one feels tight but it is still free moving enough. I recon thats why i had what i thought was 2 left and rights on the duck but infact turned out to be 3 as they found a duck of mine in the next drive. They knew it was mine as it was hit very very hard (feathers out from breast) and it didnt have as many feathers on the chest as it should have done. A good day made even better.

Punt gunning! Amazing, how did you get in to that! I loved to read about the old boys on the washes making a living out of punt gunning back in the day, but I have never met anyone who still does it.

I thought Coyote were a native species to all USA not an exotic invasive species? :001_smile:

Suppose they used to be locally extinct but have now moved back into there historical range?
