well thought i would post went to nurse today after having stitches out monday and not healed still open one end put 9 paper stitches on it and cross stitched it to keep it tight. and said rest your hand and try not to move your finger yes i am going to do that i am self employed if i do not work no money in piggy bank.

must be nice to be employed and get paid if you do not work. long since i had a job like that you got paid even when sick

When I cut my hand (12stitches) I kept some superglue in my pocket and if it let go I just glued it back together. Works a treat

I could be wrong but... I think as a self-employed person you're entitled to a little extra from our great and glorious leaders. I think Andy Colllins who fell ill, used up his spare pennies and then found out he was entitled to sickness benefits.

If doctor says you can't work, don't work! You may well do yourself a lot more (financial) harm by going on to damage yourself permanently.

Cardinal sin...?

Oh, I thought it was a thread about a churchman/choirboy/Pope coverup scandal

Regardless of that, now I'm here, don't do it again, go and ask about benefits and get well soon, best of luck.
