Whats the ones on frjones like then??? The most £££ one is less than 2k. Cheers

Lawn flite are ok aimed more at the home owner market more. Look at the working position on it, you would spend most of the time bent over or crouched. All the machines in the pro or semi pro range are designed so the operator does not have to bend down.

To the op Riko do some good machines and there in your price range jim off here is a sales man for then so you may even get an arbtalk disscount.

Best steer clear of Multec splitters I got one of their hydraulic splitters a couple of months ago. purchased direct and had to pay in advance, big mistake, came without promised hyd/fittings main pin was wrong size and poorly finished slider started to gouge main shaft until I dismantled and filed smooth. Now finally works ok after much expense and hassle. Have received promises from Multec but now they wont even reply to emails.

Cheers guys, Riko one's look interesting, problem is their website is horribly laid out and hard to decipher. Can't work out what I would be getting or at what cost. If Riko salesman you mentioned sees this, please drop me a pm with price for a petrol driven splitter.
