so if im felling trees for farmer fred then i can use my ag reg timber carrying truck because its not tree surgery ? ;)

 

Only to taken it to your yard but you carnt then hall it back out as logs to a paying cliant

 

Nope, for agricultural use it needs to be from your land to your land

My local farmer has contractors who come in to make silage and spread slurry, they run on red, but none of it "their land" and its certainly "hire and reward".

Silage is made in a field and spreading is done in a field, thats OK on red

 

If you dont want to take my word for it call HMCE yourself and ask them if what you are doing is OK, you wont like the answer.

So if some are "getting away with it" does that make it right?

 

Do what I said and call HMCE. Ask them if its OK
