Went to the local hunt meet this morning. Had some evil mulled Cider which went down extremely well. Had a very good turn out as always. Must have been over 100 horses and 50 hounds this year and approximately 3000 people lining the roads. The usual meeting point was under about a foot of water so they held it in the local hotel car park.

They usually meet in the paddock across the road from the Crown Hotel but they had to use the car park because of the water. Took my camera just forgot to put the SD card in ha ha. Nevermind will always be next year.

I used to be anti fox hunting until I weighed all things up sensibly, they're a an important part of social rural life, I used to like the Beaglers they used to start and finish at my grandparents pub. Hares were the quarry and all participants were on foot.

Nice pics good to see

I am anti-hunt only because of the principles behind our local hunt! I am country born an bred too before anyone says.
