Nothing worse than taking dry logs to a customer then them saying they get stacked outside not undercover!

 

I stack my billets undercover for 2 years maximum,cut into logs and they are bone dry,i sold some to a bloke the other day and he said "i,ll have to leave them outside to get some rain on them, or they,ll burn to quick:laugh1:

Yeah just had email complaint about logs 50/50 half seasoned and kiln dried as agreed. Made a loss on the kiln dried, egged him on to moan, always did moan about paying £270 for 5m3, miserable old bu66er. My email response just informed him of the fact that he'd been paying 2008 rates which I'd held for him and 2013 would be £70 load plus £15 as delivery is 20 miles each way. Good riddance I hope.
