Looking for ideas of where to get prefabed 'recessed' spreader pads from?

I had a set made for us a few years ago for our denka (shots below) which are more than adequate.

I'm looking to source a similar set for a colleagues machine at another site.

The guy who got these done for us is no longer around.

appreciate any leads

David

A quick search around on the crane front has thrown up this company:

About Universal Crane Mats Ltd - Universal Crane Mats Ltd - The UK load spread specialists

Looks like a probably source. I wouldnt mind getting some proper ones for a hired mewp i use as currently we use 600 square ply wood pads

Spot on, thanks James

Hi David,

Crane pads!

You have choice of thickness & area size which increase with tonnage.

I have bought a few sets over the years and some recently (advertised on e-bay, Birmingham I believe)..... They are sold in pairs & not cheap!

I carry 4 on my Mewp.

Steve

Thanks Steve :thumbup1:
