110 rear prop gone it has 50mm lift thanks

HI ALL do i need to fit a wide angled prop on it has 50mm lift on the 110 tipper and in 2 years we have fitted lots of UJS on rear prop so all do you think it better to fit a wide angled prop on thanks all jon

Yes I would say so with a lift and if your carrying weight about.

Yes - also worth fitting good quality UJs - the ones in blue boxes are cheap and they don't last so long

Yes you should. GKN will make props to order if you phone them had mine built with 35 degree joints thick wall tubes and 200mm slip joints they also do a uj with a groove through the joint to each bearing so they always grease all four.

HI 90 we only fit GKN so there good ones what the price of a GKN prop made to order thanks jon

hell of a lot of work for the want of a decent propshaft to tilt one on a salisbury back axle you need to consider that the shock mounts seat mounts and the aframe ball joint mount need moving and as the aframe mount is cast into the axle its not worth even thinking about TBH,

 

A decent prop and decent joints should and will last !
