I've had a similar experience when buying a shredder they advertise in Shetland, no previous feedback and guess what after winning they wanted me to pay bank transfer!!!!!!!!

 

There must be some kind of eBay tax haven there and they can't give refunds or somthing, I was in contact with the seller for weeks but they wudnt accept cash on collection, the same machine has been advertised over and over same description same pics

 

How do these people sleep

There is some log splitters for sale near me in Lesmahagow (Scotland) it wouldnt be them would it as i was going to buy one, but only after i had seen the machine working. But they said that there is a 6 week line time to get the machine i want????

I sways follow these rules when buying

Do they have feed back?

Do they accept paypal?

If not cash on delivery/collection when demonstrated

Do they have a website and appear to be a genuine company only then would I even consider bank transfer or cheque!!!

 

But you need to be sure!!!
