Greasing whilst hot...

I was wondering...if greasing my grinder bearings straight after a grind gets the grease better into the bearings as the parts are still warm?

The actual channel in the bearing race is such a tiny hole so a more fluid grease may pass better...?

Or do I just need other things to think about like a warm wife and greasing...

Always grease bearing just after use as it flushes them of any foreign bodies and seals them until you next use the machine.

would be ok in either situation ! best to grease and turn the bearings as ti will distribute the grease more evenly !

Hmmm greasing while 'hot' normally means the grease just turns into water like substance and doesn't get into the bearing. Do it warm or cold.

Use good quality high temp grease, i find it always works best,avoid cheap nasty grease.....
