worth a check to make sure plug cap is on lead propper and lead is not split, this will short out on metal around engine. If it bogs down then goes it does sound like fuel.

Not the first time to have a new Knackered plug, is the gap ok on plug?

what state is the plug in after running?

only problem i ever had with my 357 was fuel pipe split from tank to carb but this makes it difficult to start and you get a wet leg when it starts leaking big time!

Well couldn't really find out wrong with the saw and happened to try a different mix of fuel and it's fine, revving like it should and power how it should be too. Thanks everyone for help.

To be honest its not that strange.

Over the years I have had several 2t machines back after service for retuning after service. After a while I got wise to this, and before retuning, put some of my mix in ( the one I had tuned it on) and they are usually fine.

Its then a simple matter of retuning to the customers mix, and all is well.

Well I find it strange same as spud, at end of the day it's still a petrol and oil mix, yes I know different brands of oil but still doing the same thing. It's not very practical have to tune a saw every time a different mix is used.

Sorry if I misled. All I was saying is that it certainly can happen.

But it is rare to have to retune, 95% of the time there will be no difference in tune between mixes.
