Evening All!

I want to change my 361 to run on a .325 chain. Can someone please tell me what I need to make this happen. Also what bar length would be best?? I've got a Spudulike ported 440 on an 18" and my 660 on a 20" & 36"

I've got a lot of woodland to thin (small stuff) over the winter and think my 440 might be a bit overkill!!

Cheers

At the minute the 361 just sits in the truck as a back up saw. I'm sure I've heard that putting a .325 and a small bar really makes it whizz!!

Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:blushing:

It will cut even quick if you change the drive sprocket as well. I was told that doing the same to my old husky 61 would make it wizz the any problem is finding a pair of trousers that will stop it as the chain Meter per Second speed will be fast.

3/8's cuts fast enough... as said try a 8 tooth sprocket on a 15 inch bar. on chainsawbars.co.uk they are called a 3/8-8 rim sprocket
